Sorry for being away for quite some time but I'm writing this to let you know that I'm back again.
I've been busy with other stuff, but recently I've been able to get some more free time, so I thought I could manage to be around here more often, so here I am...
While I was away, I got some more watchers, so to those new watchers I want to say thank you.
To my old watchers and friends, just want to say I'm glad to be here among you again and I'm looking forward to see your works again...

I'm writing this to thank you all for your messages and gifts you gave me on my birthday!
Unfortunately I could see them only today because I've been too busy and tired these past weeks and I've been away from dA most of that time...
But, as soon as I got a little free time, I came here and saw all those messages and gifts and it made me really happy! So, obviously I couldn't go away again before I showed you how grateful I am for your kindness!
So, once again, THANK YOU very, very much for all the messages and the gifts you sent me! I sincerely appreciate all of them very, very much!

And before I go, I would like to apologize for not being here lately to see and support your artworks... as I told you, I've been very busy lately and I'll still be in the next few weeks, but I'll try to come back here again as soon as possible, not only to appreciate your works, but also to show you some more of my own...

I left during the last two months to use my time to do some things that I wanted to do for a long time but kept postponing....
But now I'll try to be around again, although the time will soon get short again...

These are the triumphs of FC Porto, my football team and I'm just writing this because I'm watching the celebrations of our supporters that are celebrating. in the center of Porto. our conquest of Europa League, yesterday in Dublin, against our neighbours SC Braga and I wanted to pay my homage to my team and all his players and staff, but especially to Falcao, Hulk, João Moutinho and our great manager and since childhood a FC Porto, André Villas Boas.

I've never been prouder of FC Porto than this year... this year, we broke records after records and we showed our rivals Benfica, Europe and the entire world that here in Porto, we have the best portuguese team and one of the best teams of the world, currently the 3rd best according to official records (the 1st in my opinion).

It's just a pity that portuguese politicians can't follow the good examples of the portuguese football teams, the first ruin our country and leave us in the harsh hands of IMF and European Union financial aid, the others lift our spirits really high and show the world that although we are a small country, we can do impressive things when we work hard...

Although I was talking about sports, I couldn't avoid talking about the poor situation of my country... it's just too revolting to see this country being wasted by a bunch of politicians, bankers and businessmen that only think of filling their own pockets...
But anyway, today is a day of joy to FC Porto fans and of pride to all portuguese and I'll just keep watching this wonderful celebration...

What a great day I had today! Not only did I celebrate the winning of the national football championship of my team in their stadium, as I also had a good time in a small party after the game with some friends and when I came home a few minutes ago, I logged in and I found in my inbox a message telling me that someone bought one of my prints!
I never thought I would ever sell anything and I actually only put some of my pictures for sale just for fun, but the truth is that somebody liked one of my pictures enough to decide to buy a print of it and I couldn't be happier!
Not that the profit was something exceptional, actually it was only a meager $1.40, but the idea of someone liking one of my works enough to spend his money buying a print of it just leaves me (sorry for some lack of modesty) very proud!
Probably this will be the first and the last time someone buys one of my prints, but that is irrelevant right now, because for someone that never believed he could sell anything, a sale is already a big success.

Anyway, I just wish that you, the one that bought it, whoever you are, will be pleased with the product when you receive it, thank you for buying it and you're always welcome to buy more of my prints...

Well, I'm writing this at almost 3:00 am and tomorrow I need to be at work at 9:00, so I'm going to bed...
Sorry for bothering you all with this journal, but I'm so happy that I needed to tell the news to everybody... sorry, it won't happen again...

Hello everybody!

I'm back again, after some months away... I'm sorry for being away these past months, but I just didn't have the time to come here before, because I've been working in two jobs simultaneously that occupied all my days...
Apart from my job in the lawyers office that I have since October, I started working in a part-time during the 2011 Population Census that happened these past months in Portugal, so during the day I was at the office and at the end of the day, I was knocking at doors, collecting data about the people that live in my area, so I had no time for anything else.
This job was a rather surreal experience that taught me a lot about the society I live in... it was tiresome, dangerous sometimes, but also very interesting, fun and full of  strange episodes that I'll never forget and that gave me some life experience...
Anyway, today it was my last day of work in this job, next Tuesday I'll attend a party with my coworkers that marks the end of the Portuguese Census and so, from now on, although I'm still quite busy, I have again enough time to come back here again regularly...

I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those that faved, commented and/or featured my works and that added me to their watch list during my absence... your support really means a lot to me!
Now it's time to go put my message box in order, because these months I've been away unleashed a total chaos in it... I'll need a few days to put everything in order again...
Anyway, it's good to be back among you again and I sure hope the feeling is mutual...

Hi everybody!

I have a problem with DA... I use Firefox as my internet browser and I use skins and tweaks for DA with Firefox, but three days ago, something happened and now I can't reply to comments in DA while I use Firefox, I can only do that using Internet Explorer...
I tried waiting to see if it was something temporary and as nothing happened, I reinstalled again Firefox and all the add-ons and tweaks I use with it, but the problem remains... I also looked in the web for an answer and even here in the DA help desk, but no solution...
So, I'm writing this in the hope that someone who reads this uses Firefox too and has experienced this same problem and can help me find the solution for it...
All the other things in DA work perfectly with Firefox, except the fact that I can't reply to comments in it, only in Internet Explorer, which I hate, because it's not all personalized like DA is in my Firefox browser...
So, if anyone can help me, I would appreciate that very much... if not, sorry I made you lose some of your time reading this...

This is the first time I write two journal entries with so little time between them, but I have a good reason to be writing again, because my great friend =ozonablue gave me a Premium Membership!
I'm really happy to be a Premium member again and I'm really thankful to my friend for giving me the opportunity of being Premium one more time!

I'm just writing this to thank you all that wished me a happy birthday!
I had a great day yesterday and it became better and better every time I saw a new message of happy birthday from my friends here!

I already knew that I had great friends here and yesterday was just another clear proof of that!

I'm just writing this to say a big, big thank you to all my watchers!
I arrived home today and I had the pleasant surprise of seeing that I now have over 1000 watchers, 1001 to be precise...
Thank you to all those 1001 amazing persons that took interest in my work and that inspired me and encouraged me to take more and more pictures and to improve my photographic skills...

I've been a little slow in replying to messages here lately, because I have a lot less time to be around here now...
That is due to the fact that I got a job this week! Although it takes away some of my free time, I'm loving these first days of work, I was starting to feel bad to be without anything to do...
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know why I've been slowing down here comparing to the last times...

I felt like I should update my journal and I thought that what I celebrate today would be a good pretext to do that...
So, today, I celebrate a year, since I started to be active here in DA... although my account has more than two years, I just started using it exactly one year ago...
At that time, I thought I wouldn't last a week here, because I would be ignored and my poor efforts at photography would be rejected and I would give up, but one year later, I'm still here and enjoying this website more than ever!

So, in this occasion, I would like to thank all my watchers, active or inactive and all those random deviants that stumble upon my page and fave my works...
It's thanks to you all that I feel more and more excited taking pictures and editing them, it's your support that makes my passion stronger and it's with your support that I hope to keep always improving in the future.

Oh, one last thing... as a way of giving something in return to you, my great watchers, I'll start featuring your works as I did some time ago...

Hi everybody!

How are you all? I hope your Summer is treating you all well!
So... yeah, it's true... I'm back after being three months away... I needed to take care of a lot of stuff in my life and I didn't have the mood to be here before, but as everything is returning to normal or, dare I say, to better than normal, I decided to return...
I hope you didn't miss me too much but not too less too, because I hope to see you all in my page again, because I wasn't photographically inactive all this time... I took many pictures and re-edited some old ones, so in the next days, I'll be showing them to you and I hope you see them and like them...
Oh, and as my inbox is absolutely chaotic, I'm sorry but I'll only start checking the works that you submit from now on... I'm sure the works that you submitted during these three months are amazing, as always, but it's humanly impossible, at least to me, to check thousands and thousands of deviations... I would need another three months to see them all...
I also want to say a big thank you to all those that faved and featured my works and that added me to their watch lists during these last months... I really appreciate that very, very much!
And finally I want to thank again my dear friend !terataki2005 for the two Premium Memberships that she gave me but I also want to ask for her forgiveness for wasting most of her last Premium Membership with my absence...
Such kindness deserved more from me, but unplanned things got in my way and kept me away from here, but still I'm very, very sorry...

I have a lot of deviations to see, but as it has been usual in recent times, I'm not living my best days, so I'll still be practically absent in the next days, I may come here to answer some messages and thank some s, but not much more than that... I have many pictures to upload, but I don't feel like uploading them... I'm living weird days, but I look forward to pass this phase, so I can continue with my normal life...

Hi everybody!

I'm sorry for not being here in the last days, but these last days were very difficult... as some of you know, my girlfriend was very, very  sick, but thank God the worse is over and I feel much more relieved now and I'm very pleased to see all the support that her friends here gave to her... I'm sure that soon everything will return to normal...
I'll try to come back to full activity soon, but for now I'm also facing another problem... I went to a psychiatrist that gave me some medication that makes me sick of the stomach and although I want to be quietly resting to ease my stomach, the medication makes me also hyperactive, which makes me worse of my stomach, because I'm always moving, sometimes frenetically...
I actually took almost 2 hours just to write this first part of the journal, because I can't focus... I'm constantly moving and doing something...
So, I'm still too crazy to return to my normal activity here... but I'll try to answer some messages and see some of your works and in the next days, when I get used to the medication, everything will finally return to normal...
Anyway, I'm writing this to show you the works of 5 more watchers, so enough of me and let's go straight to the feature... I hope you like the works of my watchers and don't forget to show them some of your amazing support...
